All rights to the Donaldson & Associates, Inc., learning materials are reserved. No part of the learning materials may be reproduced, copied, stored, or transmitted in any form or by any means — graphic, electronic or mechanical, including photocopying , recording or information storage and retrieval systems without the prior written permission of Donaldson & Associates, Inc, except where permitted by law.
The "Emotional SMARTS®" trademark is registered internationally and all Emotional SMARTS® material are under copyright with all rights reserved. It is understood people presenting Emotional SMARTS® material are not employees or agents of Donaldson & Associates, Inc. Individuals are able to utilize and present the Emotional SMARTS® Self-Scoring Profiles and Facilitator's Guide under the NO CHARGE License Agreement that accompanies the Self-Scoring Profiles and Facilitator's Guide when they are ordered from Training and Development Materials of Canada (1-800-283-4964 or 705-835-7550, tdmc@sympatico.ca ). Without the NO CHARGE License Agreement, no part of the Emotional SMARTS® material may be used or reproduced in any manner without written permission from the author, except in the case of brief quotations embodied in critical reviews.
The Emotional SMARTS!® book and Emotional SMARTS!® Self-Scoring Profile are based on theoretical concepts, organizational and practical experience. They are not a scientific measure of emotional intelligence and are not intended for diagnostic or selection purposes. They are tools which provide information on emotional intelligence concepts and professional development. The Emotional SMARTS!® Self-Scoring Profile has no relationship to the products of Multi-Health Systems Inc. including the BarOn Emotional Intelligence Quotient Inventory (EQ-i®). Individuals or organizations wishing to obtain emotional intelligence materials for diagnostic or selection purposes are directed to registered psychologists.
Dr. June Donaldson and Wendy Turner-Larsen, Registered Psychologist and Emotional SMARTS® Licensee intend their work, and all materials produced by Donaldson & Associates, Inc. and Turner-Larsen Consulting to be educational, informative and encouraging. They are not to be used for treatment of any health disorder, for diagnosis, or as a prescription of one’s ailments. All Donaldson & Associates, Inc., information should not replace the advice and consultation of a qualified health care practitioner. We maintain information about you in the form of the contact information you provide to us, or information that is provided by a client representative in the arranging of services on your behalf, some of which are identified in the first line of this paragraph. Donaldson & Associates, Inc., does not sell, rent, loan, or otherwise disclose your personal to anyone outside of the company.
Donaldson & Associates, Inc., utilizes personal contact information to design, deliver, and follow-up on conference presentations, training and development opportunities, mediation, and arbitration services that may be of interest and value to you. With regard to our website, we log http requests to our server so we are able to determine the most requested files, however, we do not log the specific name of site visitors.
